Creative Coffee House
This is my logo for Creative Coffee House a fictional coffee house (horrible name). It was made by taking two C’s flipping one and moving it to make the H. The origional idea was to make it look like a pair of glasses but as the teacher pointed it out infront of the whole class it looked way to much like a pair of breasts….. changed the look of the eye and changed the font that was used to make the C’s and i added a little handle to make the left one look more like a coffee cup.All was done in illustrator. very simple very clean.
P.s. They keep trying to get me to draw very boring things. i will update with the final draft.

First day with illustrator
This is my first project with illustrator. the teacher took us step by step on how to make an apple. it was more about learning the program than making anything but here is what we did.
This is something i did during lunch.
P.s. still have nothing funny to say. i wonder when i will be able to make a joke

Bodoni Type Specimens
In this project we had to construct a type specimen. A type specimen is a way for typographers to sell there fonts. they display all the usefull things there type can do and make it look super duper. I had to do this for a font that has already made lots of money as a professional font. Way to go Bodoni, you do your thing.

Migration
In this project we had to give the meaning of a word by the use of typography. i chose the word Migration because i liked how much movement it had. I represented the word migration by depicting the letters I g r a t i o n climbing up a large M which represents a mountain. (my mom says it is a representation of the daily struggle of humanity and the obstacles one meets. a lesson is learned here, with team work we can conqure anything… or anyM)
P.s. mom jokes will most definatly be a running gag. One warning though as time goes by they will get less and less funny. judging by how funny they are now, you should probably just stop coming here. One day you will learn better.

First project
This is one of my first projects at CDIA. The idea for this project was that we needed to make a full layout without changing the type face, font, and we had to make it conform to some sort of grid. This one was the first one i made and i think it came out the best. The text was written by the teacher and shows the different mistakes that young graphic design students make…. not very funny.
p.s. i am going to try and make this page look alot nicer in the future because i am trying to be a graphic design artist. it would be dumb to have a ugly website.
